NIDHI (Nurturing Infant Development & Holistic Initiatives)
The Project NIDHI (Nurturing Infant Development & Holistic Initiatives) is Samprabhav Foundation’s dedicated effort to strengthen Transformative Early Childhood Education (ECE) across Anganwadi Centres. The initiative focuses on creating joyful, inclusive, and stimulating learning environments that support the holistic growth of young children during their most formative years. By integrating play-based learning, age-appropriate educational tools, and child-centric teaching practices, Project NIDHI aims to enhance cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development while making early education engaging, meaningful, and inspiring for every child.
Driven by the belief that every child deserves the best possible start in life, Project NIDHI goes beyond traditional learning by empowering Anganwadi workers through continuous capacity building, strengthening learning infrastructure, and encouraging active community participation. The initiative also promotes nutrition awareness, health, and meaningful parental engagement to ensure children receive holistic care, love, and support at every stage of their early development. By transforming Anganwadi Centres into vibrant, nurturing, and future-ready spaces, Samprabhav Foundation is passionately working towards creating equal opportunities for every child to learn with confidence, grow with dignity, and thrive with limitless potential.
Accelerated Learning for All (ALfA)
‘We and Our Learning’ is an innovative Accelerated Learning for All (ALfA) initiative designed to transform foundational literacy and numeracy among underserved children through a joyful, child-led, and peer-assisted learning approach. Rooted in evidence-based methodologies, the program creates an engaging and inclusive learning environment where children actively learn from and support one another, building not only academic skills but also confidence, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking. During its pilot phase in Chikkamagaluru, the initiative demonstrated an impressive 86% improvement in learning outcomes, proving the power of community-driven and activity-based education in bridging critical learning gaps.
Building on this success, Samprabhav Foundation is now implementing the program in Hoskote, Bengaluru Rural District, reaching 10 schools and over 1,000 children. Through intensive teacher capacity building, innovative low-cost teaching methods, and interactive classroom practices, the initiative aims to make learning meaningful, accessible, and inspiring for every child. More than an education program, ‘We and Our Learning’ is a movement toward creating confident learners, empowered schools, and stronger communities where every child gets an equal opportunity to thrive.
